Forgetful Jones
I grew up watching Sesame Street. I am often reminded of little clips throughout my day, or I'll find myself humming a tune from one of the ditties randomly.
Last night I was up quite a few times with Westley, and during one of the wee-hours of the morning rockings, I had remembered something I had forgotten to do that day, and as soon as I remembered it the "doh! he he he..." laugh of Forgetful Jones played in my head.
It made me smile.
And this morning I remembered that moment and took a second to look up Forgetful Jones on youtube (i love that I can just look up old clips like this!) and watched a couple of them and laughed.
This is one is one of my favorites. As I watched it, giggling at my computer, I realized how often I feel like Forgetful. Its on the tip of my tongue or the edge of my mind, and yet I can't for the life of me recall. Nik is often my Clementine, trying to helping me grasp some of the easiest concepts or remember what is right in front of my nose. And how sometimes we swap rolls, and I am on top of things remembering deadlines or requirements and reminding Nik of particular details.
Every Forgetful needs a Clementine. and every Clementine needs a Forgetful.
