crafty as a 2nd grade teacher
Instagram is one of my new favorite Apps. Nik showed it to me and I instantly had a blast uploading pictures, trying on different filters and then posting my fun. If you have a phone/ipad or something that can downlaod apps, get it. do it. its really that fun.
Okay, so on instagram, my friend, Laura, who is a teacher, posted a picture of her classrooms bulletin board, and it reminded me of how much fun I had doing my bulletin board when I taught 2nd grade. Every month I would change it to go along with the holiday, weather or and upcoming event and I had a blast! I loved the monthly change and the looks on the students as they came in and saw that change. Wicked fun.
So that got me thinking, since I am not longer responsible for bulletin boards, I could get the same satisfaction for my "cutting and pasting" withdrawal, but do it through the images on my computer instead of paper and gluing the changes on my board!
I am not sure how this will work, how it will go, and if this will become a monthly event, more likely a seasonal change, but I am excited to figure it out and play around with options and different ideas.
if all goes well, changes will be on their way soon.
