"their hands intertwine.
old and dry, like the root of a tree
exposed to the touch of the sun.

he barely has any muscle in his frail flabby arms
sagging with stretched skin.
she hardly has any original teeth remaining
tucked under her wrinkled lips.

...and yet...

she still finds strength in his arms and he continues to see the world in her smile."
