Hello, hello...
"...you say gooodbye, but I say hello."
That's been the story of my life these past few weeks. That's not what the Beatles intended with these lyrics but it fits. People in our lives have been saying goodbye to us as we say hello to this new adventure the army has assigned to us.
"Hello, Fort Drum."
Very few complaints so far. Everything is new and different but that is exciting and fresh. Exactly what I needed.
Though I have slacked in the writing department. I was doing awesome at the whole New Years resolution to write once a week plan...until we moved. Driving up to Virginia for a couple weeks with my family and then the rest of the way up to New York without much access to a computer completely threw me off my rhythm. ("I'm sorry but you threw off the Emperor's groove.") But now, thanks to apps and data plans I am able to post without a computer or the Internet. (amazing!)
In the next few days I am going to attempt to catch up on weeks missed and eventually get back into the flow of weekly posting. Now that we are cozy in our cabin while we wait for housing, I'll have time to write!
So coming soon: moving stories, our cabin life and a couple fond memories brought up while spending time with my family.
Off to do more exploring!

(Ooo. Fancy-shmancy.
