adventure is out there!
it HAS been a while since I have written, but I have come up with a great plan of attack during my mental pause/busy few months...
among the posts about how cute my Westley is, stories of my childhood, and my love for Sesame Street, I am starting a project I am referring to as Project Muse. I would like to consider myself a self-disciplined person, if given a task, typically I can hop-to and make it happen. The problem with training myself to continue to write is I keep running out of ideas. I have admitted I am "out of shape" creatively, so I found a great book that will help with that. Every page has a different writing challenge. She (the author) will start the paragraph for me and then say "finish the story." or say "write about something wonderfully gross." I am beyond excited about this challenge. And hope to not only regain some creative juices, but maybe stumble upon a story, or the re-opening of so many stories I have never finished...
We'll see. I am keeping an open mind and really getting to it. As before, my goal is write once a week (Friday may not be the best day, so maybe I may be editing my assigned day) but still sticking to at least writing from this said book (feel free to ask me if you want or are curious of title/author etc) if I can't come up with my own inspiration... and I am delighted at this writers crutch. :)
This week starts the fun... stay tuned.
